Legendary Encounters: The X-Files Deck Building Game

Players form a team of agents who investigate a growing conspiracy over a three-act campaign that spans multiple “seasons.” Each turn a card from the Conspiracy Deck enters the Shadows as an Enemy, Event, Informant, or a Lead; players play cards from personal decks to generate Attack, Recruit points, and abilities to defeat enemies, reveal hidden cards, and recruit new characters into their decks. Decks cycle and improve as recruits are added, while the conspiracy escalates and increasingly dangerous End Game effects loom. Players share information and coordinate actions to collect Evidence and ultimately confront the conspiracy’s final challenge; defeat of an agent ends the game unless the End Game has already begun.
