Edo Yashiki

Players build an estate in historical Japan by placing double-sided cards that depict six adjacent areas (pond, floor, garden, etc.). Cards are arranged side-by-side or overlapped to extend linear runs of identical area types; matching rows or columns score at the end of each round. Players manage placement to maximize contiguous areas and control scoring while the shared pool of building cards diminishes. The game proceeds through repeated card-laying and scoring phases until the building cards are exhausted; the highest total score wins.
