The Captain Is Dead: Dangerous Planet

A crew lands on the surface of an abandoned alien world to recover relics that might explain a decades-old interstellar conflict. Players explore a modular tunnel system, reveal tiles, and collect relics while contending with growing swarms of hostile insects. Gameplay blends tile-based exploration with area defense and event-driven combat. Players assign roles, use limited resources and actions to fight bugs, repair damage, and keep the shuttlecraft intact; too many attacks on the shuttle prevent escape and end the mission. The tunnel layout supports scalable difficulty and varied scenarios, encouraging coordination and role management as the team balances exploration goals against mounting threats.
