Players pick a Legend and assemble a squad that airdrops onto a shrinking battleground. The game uses miniatures on a modular Kings Canyon map as teams take turns activating units, moving, using weapons, and triggering unique abilities. Combat and positioning drive play: players secure loot, contest objectives, and try to eliminate opposing squads while managing resources like ammo and actions. Matches focus on the final zone, where tactical movement, timing of abilities, and coordinated team play determine which squad remains standing.
