Ascension: Darkness Unleashed

Two players build decks and vie for Honor using new Dark Energy Shards and Energize mechanics. Dark Energy Shards act like Treasure cards that provide one energy and let a player draw a card, while triggering a Fate effect that lets each player banish a card from their discard when a shard enters the center row. Energize cards — Heroes, Constructs, and Monsters — can transform into stronger versions when a player meets the energy threshold, replacing the original with the transformed card for current and future plays; some monsters also transform when defeated and added to a player’s hand. Players score Honor for the active versions of cards in their decks at game end.
