Dark Harvest

A gothic horror setting reimagines Frankenstein’s story against the Balkan conflicts of the mid-1800s. Victor Frankenstein manipulates the unification of Romania to establish Promethea, a fortified country built on ideals of equality and scientific progress but ruled by a new feudal regime known as the Harvest. Players explore the conflict between Frankenstein, who seeks to reshape Promethea, and the Creature, who leads a resistance movement against his creator’s works. The setting presents an alternative history, fiction anthology, and roleplaying framework using a version of the Heresy Engine system, with compatibility for Victoriana 2nd Edition.
