Dark Pact

Players act as occultists building a personal deck to fulfill one of thirteen unique Dark Pacts, each with its own winning condition. Play proceeds in turns: play an action from hand (which may let the player draw, gain cards, exile cards, attack opponents, or chain further actions), then play treasures to generate coins and buy cards from a common supply or from a personal grimoire. Some Pacts are kept in play and win when their condition is met with cards in play, while others are played as instant actions and check the hand for a win. Multipliers (x2, x3) modify numerals on actions and treasures. If the deck empties, the highest Insight minus Curses total wins. Solitaire rules pit the player against an automated opponent with three possible win paths.
