Desert Struggle

A tactical wargame depicting battles between Allied and Axis forces on the North African front. Players command infantry, tanks, artillery, aircraft, and other units in scenario-based engagements, with solitaire play supported. The system uses simultaneous “WE GO” turns. Players activate officers to move and fire units, coordinate assaults, request artillery or air support, place smoke screens, and influence morale. Scenarios represent approximately 12–15 minutes of action at platoon scale, with modular isomorphic mapboards and desert terrain rules covering sandstorms, gullies, rocky ground, reconnaissance, flamethrower tanks, and motorcycle units.
