Players take the role of a powerful Ether Mage traveling through four Regions to confront ancient dragons that hold key strongholds. Gameplay uses a personal deck of Action cards to resolve Journeys and combat Enemies; players play cards to meet challenges, gain XP for upgrades, and manage time and damage. Failing Journeys burns time and can force an early dragon encounter; taking damage downgrades Action cards and reduces effectiveness. Each region culminates in a final dragon encounter that tests the upgraded deck and resource management. The game plays without a table and focuses on card sequencing, hand management, and risk-versus-reward decisions.

I really enjoy this game. A puzzle that is easy to break out in brief intervals because it is played in hand and also because it is a relatively short game.
