Fighters of the Pacific

Relive carrier-based air and sea combat in the Pacific during World War II. Players command multiple fighter and bomber squadrons, moving individual aircraft on a hex grid to gain firing arcs, evade enemy fighters, and launch bombs or torpedoes against ships and island targets. Combat resolves without dice or rulers: planes attempt dodges or suffer damage, and each aircraft has distinct speed, armor and special abilities. The game uses dozens of plane and ship tokens on a modular board, tracks formation and initiative, and includes scenario-driven setups representing historical engagements from 1942.
