Gamer Over! A Game Fair Murder Mystery

Players take the roles of attendees at a busy gaming convention where a well-known videoblogger has been found dead in the VIP press area. Each player controls a suspect who has had some contact with the victim, and one player secretly plays the murderer. Gameplay centers on conversation, interrogation, and deduction as players share information, follow leads, and try to expose the killer while the murderer misleads and conceals their guilt. The session unfolds as a scripted case with clues, character backstories, and hidden motives that emerge through play. The emphasis is on roleplaying the mystery and enjoying the narrative twists rather than strict puzzle-solving; the design includes authorial hints and small easter eggs to enrich the experience.
