플레이어들은 새롭게 발견된 성단으로 진출하는 우주 문명들의 지도자입니다. 세계를 뽑아 탐험하고, 지식 토큰을 모으고, 동맹을 영입하며, 항성계 곳곳에 거주지·수집기·식민지를 배치합니다. 각 턴에 플레이어는 탐험(세계를 공개하고 지식 획득), 적응(거주지를 활성화하거나 동맹을 가져오기), 건설(수집기나 식민지 배치), 수확(수집기에서 자원 획득), 음모(임무 및/또는 동맹 뽑기) 등의 행동 중 두 가지를 수행합니다(같은 행동을 반복해도 됩니다). 한 플레이어가 마지막 식민지를 배치하면 게임이 끝나며, 항성계 지배, 남은 지식, 완료한 임무에 따라 점수를 얻습니다.
