Players manage an extended family of workers across eight seasons, organizing labor to produce crops, raise livestock, and craft village luxuries. Each season has three phases in which players assign workers, buy and sell resources in the market, seek gold and favours, or sponsor workers into guilds where they gain skills and promotions. Weather, topography and seasonal position affect production and turn order, and the market serves as a key engine for converting goods to wealth. The game emphasizes resource management, worker placement and economic planning over two in-game years, with victory awarded to the player who accumulates the most gold.
