Livingstone

Follow in the footsteps of Dr. Livingstone along the Zambezi River to Victoria Falls, collecting diamonds and establishing tents across Africa. Roll dice to determine available actions, then choose dice in ascending order to collect money, mine diamonds, draw special cards, or explore new regions. Sell diamonds, secretly contribute coins to Queen Victoria, and score points for tents during the journey and for majorities in each region. The player who contributes the least to the Queen cannot win.

This is a game with some fun ideas and some nice components that breaks down in two places. The most important piece, is that the player at the end of the game with the fewest dollars auto-loses regardless of his points from the entire game. The other problem is there is a pulling gems from a bag mechanic that's fun, but is worse than any other action you could take.
