Players lead one of four rival druidic orders vying for favor at the roots of an ancient, world-old tree. Each round, players assign druids to actions—sanctifying sites, raising rune-etched monoliths, recruiting followers through tales, reading omens, or using force to defend beliefs—to grow their order and influence. Otherworldly allies and artifacts can be gained to bolster abilities, and players acquire spells and build sacred places that change the forest’s balance. The game resolves through engine-building, area control, and tactical worker placement as orders compete to prove their worth to the Arch-Oak’s spirit.
