Spears & Spells

A streamlined tabletop roleplaying game for telling fantasy stories in settings ranging from heroic to gritty. Players create characters, face challenges, and resolve actions through Tasks, rolling a number of six-sided dice based on the relevant stat and succeeding when the total is equal to or below it. Every roll uses d6s, including character creation and damage. The rules favor capable heroes while keeping danger meaningful, with careless characters still vulnerable to defeat.
