Tomb of the Shadow Lord (Spears & Spells)

This one-shot adventure takes beginning characters into a remote mountain fastness where Shalazar the Plaguemaster was imprisoned a thousand years ago. Once a would-be conqueror, Shalazar became an unstable undead sorcerer after a failed attempt to achieve lichdom. Players explore the sealed tomb, confront its lingering undead threat, and search for Shalazar’s notebooks, which contain the secrets of his attempted transformation. The adventure is designed for approximately four hours of play.
