Strike of the Eagle

Block wargame that simulates the military campaigns and political context of the Polish–Soviet War (1919–1920). Players command divisions and brigades represented by upright wooden blocks to conceal unit type and strength, issuing secret face-down orders each Operation Phase to bluff, feint and anticipate opponents. Orders are revealed and resolved in initiative-driven sequence across two fronts, with actions including movement, recon, forced marches, supply disruption and combat. Combat uses a deterministic, card-influenced system rather than dice, and a card deck provides events, extra orders, combat values or reinforcements. Includes multiple scenarios for 2–4 players, from short battles to a full campaign on a 1920 Eastern Europe map divided into named areas and grid locations.
