Sword & Sorcery: Ancient Chronicles – Lawful Familiars

A set of five intelligent familiars introduces new companion options classified into three types: Domestic, Wild, and Legendary. Each familiar grants passive benefits or active abilities—examples include enhanced scent tracking from the Dog and mystical effects from the Pixie—that affect combat and character actions. Familiars form a magical bond with a specific hero; if a familiar dies, its owner suffers a temporary mental shock that reduces performance. The components integrate by shuffling familiar cards into the Treasure deck and are compatible with existing quest and campaign play.
