A tactical-operational level simulation of the Western Front in World War I covering 1914–1918 through six standalone scenarios and a linked campaign. Players command corps- and division-sized formations on a large hex map (20 km per hex, four days per turn), maneuvering units, conducting attacks, entrenching, and managing reserves across key campaigns such as the initial Schlieffen thrust, Verdun, the Somme, Nivelle’s offensive, and the 1918 German offensives. Gameplay emphasizes operational movement, attrition, fortified trench lines, and timing of offensives and reinforcements. Counters represent divisions/brigades; scenarios vary in length and objectives, while the campaign links scenarios into a season-spanning strategic contest. Includes detailed scenario rules, charts, and a large map.
