Age of the Moon

Players act as competing program directors in a New Space Race, building a fully operational lunar base at the Moon’s South Pole. Each round proceeds through phases of income, purchasing assets (power plants, greenhouses, rovers, rockets), negotiation, launch attempts resolved by dice, and asset operation on the surface. Gameplay emphasizes engine-building and resource management: buy and ship infrastructure to the Moon, manage production and operating costs, and adapt to end-of-round events that can disrupt plans. Diplomatic choices and cooperative actions earn International Community Points, and the game ends when a player completes and operates all four core base modules.
