Gameplay centers on drafting dice and assigning actions: gather and trade resources, grow population, acquire luxuries, unlock and upgrade faction abilities, and support communal institutions like the army and craftsmen. Actions create positive interaction as resources and benefits flow between players, letting individual choices improve the city while advancing personal goals. The game plays over five rounds, and the player who contributes most to Alexandria’s growth scores the most Victory Points.
