Can Napoleon recreate his greatest victory, or can the Allied armies stop the Corsican ogre at Austerlitz? This miniatures-oriented battle game recreates the December 2, 1805 engagement on a gridless map of the historical terrain. Players deploy and maneuver infantry, cavalry, and artillery, using formations that reflect the period. Fog conceals movement in the early morning and can cause forces to blunder into one another, while the opposing armies differ in their strengths and abilities.
