Axis & Allies: Europe 1940

Strategic World War II simulation of the European theater with plastic infantry, tanks, planes and ships. Players control major and minor powers, conduct amphibious invasions, air raids and armored offensives, and can invade neutral countries designated as true neutral, pro-Axis or pro-Allied. The game adds mechanized infantry (half-tracks), tactical bombers, and national units/tokens for France and Italy, expanding unit types and operational choices. The large board supports extended campaigns and can be combined with the Pacific map for a global six-player game. Play focuses on alliance coordination, area control and combined-arms combat across land, sea and air.
