Players take the roles of rival wildlife photographers trying to snap photos of elusive birds of paradise. On a turn, each player takes three actions to call birds from the central clearing and jungle to their tree, snap photos of birds in their tree, or run into the jungle to flush new birds to the clearing. Actions can also set up a zoom lens to capture a bird from another player’s tree or publish a paper. Captured photos and publications are arranged left to right in a personal photo journal; the arrangement determines scoring at the end of the game.
