Players send five warrior meeples to a volcanic island to collect gems and defend their tribe in a light strategy game. On each turn players roll five dice to gain actions such as moving meeples up and down island levels, triggering lava flows that kill meeples or close territories, placing protective statues, or launching gems from the volcano with a catapult-like eruption. Dice showing turtles cannot be rerolled; each turtle symbol advances an Ancestral Turtle that moves around the island and can end the game if it completes two laps. The game ends when an entire tribe is eliminated, and scoring combines meeple positions by level, collected gem values, and control of enclosed areas created by lava flows.
