Mesopotamia

Mesopotamia is a board game for 1–6 players. It plays in 60–120 minutes and is meant for ages 14 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 6.

Lead an early civilization across the fertile crescent, choosing from distinct historical peoples and guiding them from humble villages toward lasting achievement. Players manage resources, expand territory on a modular dual-layer board, and resolve hidden events that alter the landscape and present difficult strategic choices. Each civilization has unique abilities that shape play and unlock new actions over time—Build, Research, Agriculture, Gather and Trade, and Warfare—while exploration and dicelective events drive tension. Scoring depends on accumulated victory points; the rise of the Hanging Gardens signals the game’s end.
