The Adventurers: The Temple of Chac

Players guide a team of explorers through a collapsing Mayan temple, collecting relics and trying to reach the exit before a giant rolling boulder catches up. Gameplay centers on simple dice rolls and card draws to resolve movement, traps and treasure; carrying more treasure reduces available actions, forcing trade-offs between looting and escaping. The modular passage includes hazards such as crushing walls, lava pits, locked alcoves, a fast river and a rickety bridge, plus optional short-cuts that change risk and timing. Characters can be lost and replaced during a run, and the outcome hinges on managing luck, timing and risk to get valuable finds out of the temple alive.
