The Cousins' War

A strategic wargame recreating the dynastic struggle between two royal houses during 15th-century England. Players take the role of a house and, over up to five rounds (each covering several years), contest influence across regions and prepare for major battles. Each round players select a battlefield, play action cards to deploy troops and manipulate regional influence, then resolve combat through a bluff-and-dice mechanic until one side’s forces are eliminated. Battles shift control of regions; victory comes from dominating all regions or holding the most regions after the fifth round. Two promotional cards are included.
