Players play cards across four rounds to bid for and recruit gunfighters, buy rounds of beer or whisky, and use actions like aiming a gun or playing card tricks to steal gunfighters from opponents. Each round awards protection points and adds recruited gunfighters to a player’s pool, and the accumulated protection and gunfighters determine outcomes in the endgame.
