Wings of War: Burning Drachens

World War I aerial combat over the Western Front, with emphasis on attacking huge observation balloons and ground targets. Players pilot period fighters and scouts, perform maneuvers from a card-driven system, manage altitude and weapons, and resolve damage via dedicated decks. Scenarios include balloon-busting with incendiary rounds or Le Prieur rockets, trench-strafing missions, and solo or two-player engagements. Optional rules add anti-aircraft guns, machine-gun effects, and other variations for a deeper simulation. Components are a mix of maneuver and damage decks, airplane cards, and ground target cards, and the set can be used standalone or combined with other series packs for larger battles.
