Sol: Last Days of a Star

Players represent rival planetary efforts racing to power a final Ark and escape a dying star. The board shows orbital lanes and layered zones inside the star; ships launch from a rotating mothership and must be converted into stations or solar gates to penetrate deeper layers. Actions harvest energy from nodes, build new ships at foundries, and transmit collected energy through towers to generate momentum for the Ark. Deeper incursions yield greater rewards but accelerate stellar instability, and activating other players’ stations splits the payoff. Players balance ship conversion, timing, and resource management to send the most energy home before the star collapses.
