Players take the roles of Viking jarls leading raids across Europe in search of treasures and prestige. Over six expeditions, they roll dice and place Viking tokens on three boards to gain the lead in different countries and claim destination or objective cards. The number of tokens placed affects the dice available on the following turn, while luck and the gods can influence where each expedition ends. Players score prestige for completed objectives, control of countries, and reconstructed frescoes. The player with the most prestige earns a place on King Harald’s council.
