Wilkołaki
A fast social-deduction game for 3–10 players that plays in about ten minutes with no moderator and no player elimination. Each player receives a secret role—werewolves, villagers, and a variety of special characters (Seer, Troublemaker, etc.)—that can inspect, swap, or otherwise alter identities during a single night phase. After night actions resolve, players discuss and try to identify a werewolf; the group votes to lynch one player, and victory depends on whether the lynched player is a werewolf. An optional app can handle the night narration and timing.

Max7,5 This game never dissapoints. Easy to pick up yet still engaging at a higher strategic level, I find myself playing this one again and again. Part of its charm is the way it effortlessly slides itself into any situation, creating hilarious game nights, light Saturday evening fun, or tense moments of gothic thrill with the lights off and chilling music on full volume. What's more, One Night has almost endless opportunity for enjoyment, with just enough novelty for a fresh and exciting experience, but also falling back on the well-established mechanics of social deduction games. The expansions, while not neccesary, add a lovely flare of personalisation, while helping to freshen up the experience by adding more characters. Unfortunately, I do have a minor quarrel with this game; its randomness, while sometimes thrilling, can lead to dull and uninteresting games, whether that be due to drawing a dud character, or if one team grossly outbalances the other (though these issues can often be resolved by playing with more players). Overall, however, I do conclude that One Night is a spectacular game, worthy of the title of a classic, even, and the only reason I do not score it higher is because maybe, just maybe, it is a little overhyped (becoming akin to the likes of Exploding Kittens and Catan). Maybe.

Pytania o zasady
Odpowiedzi z instrukcji od asystenta zasad Ludoya.
How many center cards should we always have?
You must always have 3 more cards than players (place a token for each card in the center so everyone knows which roles are in the game). (Rulebook p2)
If the Robber steals a Werewolf, is he now a Werewolf and does he wake with the other werewolves?
The Robber becomes the team of the card he takes (so he is on the Werewolf team if he takes a Werewolf) but he does not perform that role’s night action and does not wake again as that role. (Rulebook p4)
When the Troublemaker swaps two players, do those players get to do night actions or learn what they became?
The Troublemaker quietly swaps two other players’ cards; the players who receive different cards are now those roles for the end of the game but they do not retroactively perform new night actions or see their new cards. (Rulebook p4; see Insomniac note p5)
If the Doppelgänger copies a role with a night ability (like Seer or Robber), when does that action happen?
The Doppelgänger looks at another player’s card and becomes that role: if she views Seer/Robber/Troublemaker/Drunk she immediately does that role’s action now; if she views a Werewolf or Mason she wakes later with them; if she viewed the Insomniac she is woken later to check her card. (Rulebook pp2–3)
How does the Minion win if there are no Werewolves in the game?
If no players are Werewolves, the Minion wins as long as one other player (not the Minion) dies; additionally, if the Minion dies and no Werewolves die, the Werewolves (and the Minion) win. (Rulebook p3)
If the Hunter dies, does the player the Hunter pointed at also die regardless of vote counts or ties?
Yes; when the Hunter dies, the player he is pointing at dies as well “regardless of how many votes his target receives.” (Rulebook p5)
