Players draft and deploy themed factions of cards to seize control of bases and score victory points. The set provides four distinct factions with fixed 22-card decks each that can be used standalone as a two-player duel or mixed with other sets to support up to four players. Players combine two faction decks, play minions and actions, contest bases, and use faction abilities to alter combat and scoring. Gameplay focuses on deck interaction, area control at the bases, and tactical timing of plays to outmaneuver opponents and secure points.
