Players lead rival Mafia families in New York and build wealth through illegal businesses such as casinos and betting agencies. They expand their influence by taking over closed businesses, arranging favorable deals, managing the press, and securing the release of family members from jail. Opponents can be hindered by informing the FBI about their activities or starting vendettas. The player with the most money and influence becomes the head of the city’s criminal families.
