West Riding Revisited

Set in the United Kingdom during the Industrial Revolution, this railway investment game has players bid on shares, build track, trade basic shares for grouping-company shares, pay dividends, and determine turn order. Cubes mark expansion links, while some shares begin with dummy players to shape the opening. The game ends when the locomotive marker reaches the final space or all six basic railways are complete. Players then liquidate their holdings in the Big Payoff, and the investor with the most money wins. An advanced variant provides a variable starting setup.
