Aqua Mirabilis

Players act as perfumers in 17th-century France who harvest and process flowers into fragrant essences and combine them into perfumes. Flowers such as orange, bergamot, jasmine, lavender, narcissus and rose are transformed through production actions into essential oils, fixatives and solvents, which are then mixed to fulfill scent recipes. Players expand their capabilities by acquiring apprenticeship and city tiles that grant new techniques and benefits, and cultivate social ties with influential ladies to gain access to the King’s Court. Perfumes presented at court score prestige based on originality and fashion; the player with the most prestige at the end wins.
