Daimyo: Rebirth of the Empire

Players command rival Clans in a post-collapse archipelago where a warped Bushido shapes society. Each player deploys Governors to gain influence on islands, Scavengers to recover ancient Relics, and Heroes to lead armies and gather resources. Gameplay runs over five rounds with area-control and worker-placement elements: influence on islands scores Popularity each round, while restored Relics, constructed Buildings, and the combined strength of army and Gold score endgame Popularity. Players balance risk from stealthy assassins and tactical placement to maximize their Popularity and claim the imperial title.

Interesting Mix of dice drafting, area control , set collection and "engine" building / improving. In 15 turns you need to establish dominance , and resources are quite tight and decisions matter
