Henko

Players place pieces on a shared grid to build lines while disrupting the opponent’s plans. Two variants change the objective and scoring: one variant aims for an immediate five-in-a-row to win, with a fallback scoring count if the board fills without a five-in-a-row; the other confines play to the nine central spaces and resolves contests as three-in-a-row fights where special and bonus tokens determine points. Action tokens and bonus scoring tokens introduce tactical options and alter placement value, and games end when a winning line is made or when pieces/tokens are exhausted, with the higher score prevailing.
