La Bataille de la Moscowa (Third Edition)

A large-scale simulation of the September 1812 engagement near Moscow, covering the three days of battle on a hex map at 100 meters per hex. Units represent infantry, cavalry and artillery at regimental/brigade scale (100 men per infantry point, 50 per cavalry point, artillery at 2–4 guns per strength point). Play uses a streamlined set of La Bataille rules (Le Règlement des Marie-Louises) for faster play while remaining compatible with the more detailed Le Règlement de l'An XXX. The game includes four maps and over 1,400 counters, emphasizing massed formations, artillery barrages and maneuver across a constricted battlefield.
