Mysthea

Players take the role of rival powers vying for control of fragmented, floating islands on a strange, unstable world. Through hand-building and resource-management mechanics, players recruit units, develop abilities, and construct strongholds to extend influence over island territories. Area-control and tactical combat resolve conflicts against other players and against bizarre monsters and anomalies that affect island behavior, including shifting and movement of the islands themselves. Decision-making balances short-term skirmishes, long-term engine development, and occasional cooperation to overcome powerful threats.

Feels weird at 2 and has too much downtime at 4+, so that leaves it as a 3-player only. Doesnt feel like any of your turns bear any weight action-vise as you only play a card to either install it, build a dude, place a dude or move a dude. Sometimes a combination if you got enough energy. I'll much rather play Tyrants of the Underdark, Forbidden Stars, Cry Havoc, Cthulhu Wars, Exodus Proxima Centauri, Kemet, Inis, Starcraft the Board Game or Time of Crisis at 3-4 players and maximum 3 hours.
