The Six of VIII

A trick-taking game played on a timeline where each Queen’s suit becomes trump during her reign. Players sit opposite a partner, pass two cards, and play four hands of must-follow trick-taking to capture courtiers and score points. Tricks score one point each plus any point values on cards collected; the team with the most points after four hands wins. An advanced variant adds three special cards: the King (highest trump), two Spies (zero-value cards that can masquerade as a different suit’s 13), and a Church of England card that the trailing team can use once per hand to annul a trick that doesn’t contain the King.
