Wutaki

Wutaki is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 60–90 minutes and is meant for ages 14 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4.

Players lead rival village elders trying to appease a giant, feared deity before a volcanic eruption. The game uses worker placement to send villagers out for resources, fulfill elemental pacts and gain rewards tied to elemental towers. Omen cards and elder powers create interaction and disruption as players vie for control of pacts and board spaces. The game combines resource management, tactical placement and timing as players balance building influence, collecting sacrifices and undermining opponents.
