Death Ride Kursk: Gross Deutschland

This operational wargame covers the Grossdeutschland Division’s advance during Operation Citadelle in the southern Kursk area. German forces push from the Pena River toward Oboyan against large Soviet formations, with the division’s armor, infantry, artillery, engineers, reconnaissance, and support units represented in detail. Each turn covers two hours of daylight or four hours of night across 330-meter hexes. During an Operations Phase, players conduct maneuver and fire, fire support, engineering, and intelligence actions in any order. Air defense, command and control, and combat service support are handled at other points in the sequence. Battalion task organization allows infantry, armor, engineers, and reconnaissance units to be cross-attached to form specialized combat groups.
