This modern chess variant draws on the fable of the Crow and the Fox, while retaining traditional chess movement rules. Players draw Action, Power, Spell, Kouronne, and Master cards to influence the game, set traps, bluff, and change the course of a duel. The rules balance the two sides and keep play tense through the final move. Suitable for ages 8 and up; a chess set is required.
