Cloudspire

Players command one of four factions in a floating-realm conflict over a rare energy called the Source. Combine tower-defense placement with MOBA-style hero control: build and upgrade Spires to defend bases, send stacked or individual armies and minions to attack, and move heroes to fight or explore for resources and Relics. Draft mercenaries, level up heroes, and manage event-driven twists that alter each encounter. Solo and cooperative play follow scenario-driven narratives that present faction-specific objectives and evolving challenges.

Regelspørgsmål

Besvaret ud fra regelbogen af Ludoyas regelassistent.

When do Spires fire—before or after movement/exploration/attacks?

Spires fire during the Onslaught after the Movement step and before Exploration and the Attack phase (see Rulebook p.20–21).

Do minions (and heroes) retaliate when attacked, and when does retaliation resolve?

Retaliation occurs as part of attack resolution: if an attacked unit survives the attack it may immediately deal retaliation damage according to its stats/abilities (see Rulebook p.14 and examples p.24).

How much Source and how many command points (CP) do I get each wave, and when do I get them?

During the Income phase you gain Source equal to the current wave value and receive that wave’s CP allotment; refer to the Income/Market phase rules and the quick reference for wave values (Rulebook p.16; quick reference p.36).

When can I build or upgrade Spires and advance my Fortress—only in certain steps?

Building and upgrading spires, placing earthscapes, and advancing your fortress are actions performed in the Build Phase; there are also Start‑of‑Turn checks that can allow limited builds in some situations (see Rulebook p.17 and Start of Turn checks p.20).

Can a hero move, attack, then move again in the same Onslaught?

No—units take their movement during the Movement step of the Onslaught, then attacks occur later; some attack effects may cause additional movement as part of their resolution, but there is no second standard movement (Rulebook p.20–21).

How do minion promotion and hero leveling work—do they retain upgrades when they promote/level?

Minion grouping and promotion rules explain when minions are promoted into stronger units, and heroes gain levels through XP when they defeat enemies or meet level conditions; promoted/minion and hero upgrades are handled according to their chip/upgrade rules (see Rulebook p.14–15).
