Space Hulk

Asymmetric miniatures wargame that pits armored Space Marines against fast, predatory Genestealers in tight, modular ship corridors. Players set up scenarios on a modular board representing a derelict space hulk, then take opposing roles: one side completes objectives such as retrieving artifacts and escaping, while the other tries to stop them, typically by slaughtering the intruders. Play emphasizes close-quarters tactics, line-of-fire and overwatch for the Marines, and rapid, melee-focused assaults for the Genestealers; turns are asymmetric, with strict time limits for Marine actions to simulate the alien threat. Miniatures require assembly/painting and expansions add new troops, weapons, missions and campaign options.
