The Great War in Europe: Deluxe Edition

A consolidated and revised edition that combines an original World War I European campaign and its Near East expansion into a single package. Players command the major belligerents across three maps (Western Front, Eastern Front, and Turkey), maneuvering and fighting with roughly 1,500 half-inch counters that represent divisions, corps and formations. Rules are rewritten to streamline play and increase historical fidelity, and the game offers multiple scenarios covering each front for each year of the war. Scenarios range from short, two- to three-hour engagements to a full-campaign play that can occupy a full weekend, with simultaneous play on different fronts to reduce downtime.
