3-2-1 Countdown

Players race to launch a ship by keeping the lowest total hand value. On a turn, players shed cards to one of two discard piles by playing single cards or sets, then end by drawing a card. A player may declare “countdown” to end the round; if that player has the lowest hand total they score points and bonuses, but if another player has a lower total the declarer scores nothing and others score instead. The game mixes hand management and risk assessment as players decide whether to keep shedding cards or gamble on calling countdown.
